SPRING/SUMMER 2014 EYEWEAR COLLECTION

Marc Jacobs presents its Spring/Summer 2014 eyewear collection with new sunglasses and optical frames that convey classic glamour and an elegant flair perfectly reflecting the brand’s original and refined style. The classic geometric shapes, with bold volumes and unexpected color combinations, are enhanced by an alluring blend of materials highlighting the new glasses’ 50s-inspired design and sophisticated allure.


Mod. MJ 528/S, MJ 529/S, MJ 532/S
Presented for the 2014 Resort 2014 collection, this acetate sunglass frame, available in both men’s and unisex styles, exhibits a retro influence with a contemporary feel. The bold shapes are softened by transparencies that create an ombre effect on the frames. The trendy shade combinations alternate brown/beige front with shaded brown temples, transparent blue front with light blue temples, green front with shaded mud temples, dark green front with shaded mud temples, light blue front with shaded light blue temples, shaded grey front with grey/white temples, total havana, total blue, total black, transparent orange or grey/beige.

This spring, Marc Jacobs will feature exclusive, sophisticated optical frames for both men and women in classic shades of black and havana. The men’s styles are accompanied by hues of green, transparent blue, blue/light blue and shaded grey. The women’s frames have beige grey and cherry hues.

Inspired by the glamorous spirit of the 1950’s, Marc Jacob introduces a chic vintage sunglass and optical frame exclusively for women. The front profile color adds a unique, sophisticated touch to the retro-inspired frame, while a refined color palette highlights these models’ pure elegance. The styles are available in black, ivory, havana/brown, blue and red colors. Lenses of the sunglasses are shaded in the tones of brown and grey.


The collection is available starting in January 2014.
